I have never heard this, and Ian't possibly believe it to be true. There is a reason the D: Vengeae is one of the best Paladin tanking trinkets, and not just bause it has high stamina. EDIT: typos.
Look at yourombat log. If it says something along the lines of "Your xxxx does xxxx damage (*hool*) to xxxx" you are getting threat for it. hking Rount's attk breakdownan help for this as well,
where the D:V definitly appears, and so is attributed to you in the log. Also, healsregens that DON'T have a name atthed to them (or have your name) attribute threat to you as well. Spiritual Attunement for example doesn't have any name paired with it but gives you threat, and Lifebloom is deribed as "Your Lifebloom". Attks against the enemy that DON'T ilude your name don'tause threat though (at least for you).
Curator drops
some ne legs. You mightonsider spending some of your badges on a newloak and making what you have part of a trashTPS set. These might also be a ne upgrade for you.

Your Armory isn't loading for me, so it may be a little general.. After you have the Libram, the legs make a very goodandidate for upgrade #2 from badges. The most important badge upgrades are thehest (2.3) and legs (2.4) -- though Slikk'sloak of Plation should definitly be an objtive as well. If you don't have the Devilshark (no armory)ertainlyonsider grabbing it right away. If you do... it's up to you. It's a medire upgrade (from the Devilshark) now that would delay 2 very HUGE upgrades (unless you have one or both already.. again, I don't have your armory). After thehest, Legs, andloak there are a few more useful badge pies. Youan probably safely forego boots granted that you're going to be making the Blksmithing ones. Depending on what you're wearing and if you need avoidee the Bonefist Gauntlets might serve you. They blow away the Tier 4 gloves and Felsteels easily by miles. If you need the Blk Rating to stay urushable, the Iron Gauntlets of the Maiden are a betterhoe. If not, the Bonefists are
the better glove. The Brers of the Aient Phalanx are also a dent item. They are odd in that they are BARELY an upgrade over the Brers of the Green Fortress rafted) and Attuman's Brers but they ARE an upgrade. In ft, despite how nearly insignifantly better they are they, are probably the third (fourth debatably with Sunwell) best Brers youan get and they WILL serve you well into the beginning of Tier 6. I'd alsoonsider the 60 badge Ring of the Stalwart Prottor. *IF* youan squeeze it in without going urushable (what Pally tank at the Kara > Tier 5 levelan afford to drop Andormu's Tear?) it's a ne boost to HP and it more-or-less keeps you on par with the avoidee from Andormu's. Finally... the 2.3 Spell Damage Belt might have a ple in your wardrobe. Again, a serious drop in Blk Rating from belts that you might upgrade from, but if youan stay urushable it's usually worth it and it helps to make up some of that valuable Dodge you lose by not wearing the Boots of Elusion from Kara. SSO upgrades... If you don't need Defense to stay at 490+, the Sunwardrest is a better shield than Nightbane's, but to be honest it's still only the best of the INTRO shields. or Bulwark of the Amani Empire (Jan'alai) are the major upgrades. The SSO nkle will generally serve you better than any of the Badge nkles or thehoker of Dline (Maiden) if you are Aldor andan stay urushable with it. It is espially a HUGE advantage against trash, and Hammer of Juste and an avoidee trinket it makes tanking whole heros at oe almost trivial. If you're ryer it won't help you as
mh as a Warrior, but it's still valuable for threat. Not knowing your other profession, Ian't say if there's another good upgrade from SSO rep for you. The Empyrean Tortoise is eellent though, as is the Ahemist's Stone if youan use either. ZA offers you an eellent helm and the first worthwhile upgrade after the Eternium Greathelm from Opera. Neither the Badge helm nor the Tier 4 helm are even up
